Vancouver Exterior Renovation
Project Details When we first met this historic Vancouver apartment building, its exterior was in dire need of TLC. Over 100 years of weathering and several layers of outdated siding were detracting from the curb appeal of this once-compelling structure. Our team wasted no time, completing remedial work on all four stories, and installing a new water protection system to improve drainage and preserve the new materials. Iron Grey HardiePlank siding and window upgrades modernized the façade, while Buttermilk-coloured trims added a complementary touch of elegance to the building’s overall aesthetic. We were able to bring the building into the 21st century with a distinguished, yet charming new appearance, and restore its status as one of the city’s most notable landmarks. |

Project Details This three-level, large-scale renovation in the heart of Deep Cove blends tranquility and convenience. Overlooking the marina, the contemporary transformation perfectly complements a luxury lifestyle; in addition to being steps away from shops and restaurants, high-grade, energy efficient windows on each level capitalize on the breathtaking water views. Additional features include over 2,200 square feet of open concept living, a spacious gourmet kitchen, and vaulted ceilings in all rooms on the top floor. |

North Vancouver Entryway
Project Details This reconstructed front entry and sidewalk for a North Vancouver residence had to be built with structural integrity at the forefront. Belonging to a local non-profit organization, the home accommodates individuals with varying disabilities, making safety and quality our top priorities. In addition to the new entryway in the front, a large grade-level deck was constructed in the rear for entertaining and outdoor planters to be displayed. |

Langley Tilt-Up
Project Details When we were selected to construct a tilt-up for individual units for an industrial warehouse park in Langley, we rose to the occasion and succeeded in building a top quality commercial complex for the area. Included in this project, were the tasks of pouring the concrete slabs and panels, erecting the structure, and securing tilt braces, while the final processes were carried out. We made it a priority to stay on time and on budget throughout, and accomplished both. |

Project Details Kin’s Farm Market is a chain of produce stores throughout Greater Vancouver. Their stores are iconic in the grocery industry for their spacious layouts and accessible, open design. When we were contacted to construct both the foundation and framing for one of their Surrey locations, we proficiently accomplished the project according to exact chain store specifications. “As a structural engineer, my company provides many services including, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects for a wide range of clients. In 2010, after hearing a positive review about FirCrest Developments, I decided to contact them for a retaining structure project in Coquitlam. Their level of professionalism impressed me (always on time), and they had an expert level knowledge, regarding building codes and municipal permits to get the job done right and on schedule. Today, I can proudly say I’ve worked with FirCrest Developments on multiple ventures; if anyone is looking for a general contracting company that delivers in service abilities and has rock-solid values, look no further than FirCrest Developments.” Mike Shafai – P.Eng., Tash Engineering, North Vancouver |
